A frosted acrylic panel sits inside an offset white aluminium frame, so the lit strip appears to float clear of the wall while light spills upward and downward around it. The effect is architectural rather than decorative — the fitting itself stays quiet and the glow does the work, which suits stairwells, corridors, and bedside walls where a shade would feel heavy. It can be mounted either way up, and turned on its side for a horizontal run above a headboard or along a hallway. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or replace.
Key Features
- Design: Offset rectangular frame in white with a recessed frosted acrylic light panel.
- Dimensions: 32 cm (12.6 in) long, 12 cm (4.7 in) wide, projecting just 5 cm (2 in) from the wall.
- Light Source: Integrated 16 W LED producing around 2000 lumens — no bulb required.
- Colour Temperature: 3000 K warm white, flicker-free.
- Coverage: Suited to rooms of roughly 10–15 m².
- Materials: Die-cast aluminium body with an acrylic diffuser panel.
- Orientation: Mounts vertically or horizontally, so it can run up a stairwell or along a wall.
- Power: 220–240 V, compatible with UK mains.
- Installation: Four steps — fix the bracket, connect live and neutral, clip on the body, done. Mounting hardware and instructions included.
Usage Scenarios
- Running several up a staircase wall to light the treads without an overhead fitting.
- Mounting either side of a bed as space-saving bedside light, leaving the nightstand clear.
- Lighting a corridor or landing where a projecting sconce would be in the way.
- Adding warm accent light beside a mirror, artwork, or in an alcove.
Before You Buy
- The LED is built in and not replaceable — when it eventually fails, the fitting is replaced rather than the bulb.
- 3000 K is a warm, yellow-leaning white. Choose it for bedrooms and hallways rather than task areas needing crisp light.
- This is a hardwired mains fitting. If you are not competent to wire it, use a qualified electrician.
